This recipe is my “go to” when I don’t have much time to prepare for Shabbos. It’s simple, quick and tastes great. I usually double it and stick one in the freezer.
Broccoli Kugel
Materials
- 20 oz . frozen chopped broccoli cooked and drained
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon onion soup mix
Instructions
- mix all ingredients
- cook for 1 hour at 350
Until next time,
Shaindy
As I was about to put this in the oven, I realized that your recipe called for the broccoli to be cooked first. Mine is still frozen, so I hope this works out!!
Please let us know how it tasted! I would think it would be good, just not as mushy… you might even like it better that way!

My broccoli came in a 24oz bag so I used 24 instead of 20oz. I let the brocolli semi defrost on the counter but I did not cook it first, why do extra work and dirty another pot? 🙂
Tasted delicious and cut nicely into squares so it looked good on a platter! Thanks for the recipe!
wow, thanks for the tip! I’ve always cooked the broccoli, but will now try it your way- I love making an easy recipe even easier. Thanks!
