This week’s menu plan is courtesy of DH. He planned, prepped and cooked the entire thing! I can’t wait to eat it because all the food looks absolutely delicious.
Friday Night:
- Tri-color three layer gefilte fish
- Roasted chicken with potatoes
- Apple kugel (store-bought)
Shabbos Lunch:
- Turkey chops
- Sweet potato kugel
- Sweet noodle kugel
For dessert we’ll have some store-bought cookies and strawberry banana soup.
I’m getting a little nervous about preparing for the fast day on Sunday. I think I’ll leave my hot plate on the entire Shabbos so that we could heat up leftovers for a real third meal. I just don’t have the energy to cook another entire meal and I’m not really sure what I would even make.
