Parshas Noach… guess I shouldn’t be surprised that it’s pouring outside today! After my first full week back at work in over a month, I pulled out (almost) our entire Shabbos menu from the freezer. Here’s what we’re having:
Friday Night:
- Vegetable Soup (freezer)
- Stuffed cabbage (store-bought, freezer)
- Butternut squash kugel (freezer)
- Rice
Shabbos Lunch:
- Teriyaki Chicken (freezer- Aug KOAMC)
- Broccoli kugel (freezer)
- Leftover kugel from Friday night
For the teriyaki chicken, I decided to defrost it and broil it instead of making it in the crock-pot like the recipe suggests. Hope it tastes good!
I didn’t buy any dessert, so we’ll see if we make a Dunkin Hines brownie mix. Not sure I want to, but might end up regretting it if I have a special craving for something chocolate.
And now for some Parshas Noach humor:
Have a great Shabbos!
Until next time,
Shaindy
