I know that I complain a lot on this blog, but with Thanksgiving coming up I started thinking about all the things I’m grateful for.
In no particular order, here they are:
Shabbos
24 hours to disconnect. It’s hard, but I appreciate the time away from technology so I can focus on what really matters.
Family and Friends
I am so lucky. I have a wonderful husband, 3 of the cutest kids around and a super supportive extended family who’s always there for us. My friends aren’t half bad either 😉
Readers
That’s you! I appreciate all the time you spend reading my blog and commenting when you can.
Daycare
Makes my life as a working mom much calmer knowing that my kids are well taken care of all day long. Oh yeah, and they learn a ton of stuff too!
Yeshiva/School
I love how excited DS1 is about all the Jewish values he learns. Parsha, davening, brachos, aleph-bais, middos- all of it is refreshing to see it through the eyes of a 4 year old.
Afternoon Babysitter
I’m not sure how I’d function without her. She treats my children as if they were her own. What more can a working mom ask for?
Co-workers
I work with some of the most amazing and understanding people out there. I wouldn’t be able to pursue my career while being a mommy if it wasn’t for them.
What are you grateful for?
Until next time,
Shaindy
