The theme of this month’s Kosher Connection Linkup is drinks. I don’t really enjoy alcoholic beverages, so I decided to share another type of drink with you- my favorite homemade smoothie.
I started making these delicious chocolate peanut butter smoothies as an easy way for me to fill up for a long day ahead. Once my kids took a taste there was no going back and it’s become our Sunday morning tradition. They love it because it’s “mommy’s food” and I love it because it’s filling, easy to make, tastes delicious and allows me to get rid of those overripe bananas everyone refuses to eat. When Hubby is around, I usually double the recipe, blend everything at once and there’s enough for everyone.
