I’m always looking for new websites that have healthy, easy, freezer-friendly recipes and I think I hit the jackpot. New Leaf Wellness is a site dedicated to slow cooker meals and freezer cooking and the best part is that most plans and recipes are kosher!
Now, I’m not the hugest fan of crockpot chicken (I will have to work my way up to trying those types of recipes again), but so far I’ve made the slow cooker turkey black bean chili (sans the cheese) and it was really good. Like really really good. It was super simple, I already had the ingredients in the house and it wasn’t too spicy for me. One recipe gave me at least 2 meals, so I froze the leftovers.
Aside from recipe posts, you’ll also find posts with lists of awesome recipes like this one for 31 Crockpot Freezer Recipes or this one for 10 Chili Recipes You Can Freeze Without Cooking Ahead of Time.
But as I mentioned, I love reading through the freezer meal plans. I found that the pork recipes also have a chicken/turkey/beef option that works well too. All of these plans are free and everything is already done for you- grocery list, recipes cards, etc… It doesn’t get much easier than that!
One last thing I love – the eye candy. The pictures on the site are gorgeous – even though crockpot food usually isn’t visually appealing. Overall the blog feels authentic and I’m so glad I found it.
If you try any of the recipes on this site- please let me know which ones! We’re always looking to try something new!
Until next time,
Shaindy
You just made my day, Shaindy. Thank you so much for your kind words and compliments. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. 🙂
