I’d like to get your opinion on my Shabbos menu posts. DH thinks they’re silly and doesn’t understand why anyone would care what we’re eating on Shabbos.
On the other hand, I like to post my Shabbos menus. I’m proud of their simplicity, the fact that I was able to pull them together and I want to share that with you!
So, if you don’t mind- please take a minute to post your opinion. Your honest opinion. Thanks in advance!
In the meantime, I want to post what we’re having this Shabbos:
Friday Night
- Vegetable Soup
- Meatballs and Cabbage (freezer)
- Rice
- Broccoli kugel
Shabbos Lunch
- Gefilte fish
- Chicken
- Couscous
- Butternut squash kugel
Have a great Shabbos!
Until next time,
Shaindy
I LOVE that you post your shabbos menus, as I am always looking for a little inspiration. My only suggestion would be to post them a day or two earlier, as that’s when I’m usually scrambling to figure out what I’m going to serve. 🙂
Thanks! Unfortunately I can’t post my menus earlier, since they aren’t really made in advance! The only advice I can offer is to read my past menus for inspiration. That’s what I do 😉
They’re terrific! Who would think they’re silly?!
lol. Guess it’s a lady thing to post your menu and enjoy reading other people’s!

I’ve had the same question about posting my weekly menu plans, but there has been enough positive feedback that so far, I’ve decided to continue. Remember that for every positive comment you get about them (or anything), there are probably another 20 people who feel the same way!
Thanks for your words of encouragement! And yes, I like reading your menus. I find it interesting to see how others do things- like meal plan!

Yes, I love it, and the reasons are too numerous to list. The main ones though, run along the lines of “We’re all in this working mom thing together” and “One day I will make kugels. If she can do it, I can too!” Keep it up!
Thanks! I think I’ll continue posting my menus – when I find the time!
