It’s Shavuos! The three days will be long, but I’m hoping the weather will be nice and I’ll be able to spend some time relaxing. I’ve gotta make sure my kids are stocked up on books and we’ll be all set!
We’re not having guests for any of the meals. I’ve been working long hours and just want to be relaxed. We are however doing a pot-luck lunch with our neighbors which will be a nice change of scenery (we’re eating at their house) as well as yummy food and excellent company.
I’m trying to keep the prep to a minimum and will leave my oven on so I can cook if I need to. Yay for Shabbos Mode!
Here’s what we have planned (subject to change!):
