All, you know I don’t like to patchke in the kitchen, so when DH bought a bag of frozen tilapia I wasn’t happy. I had no idea how to cook it. I just learned how to cook salmon and I knew tilapia was not the same.
So, after some internet research I came across a wonderful recipe. My version is below, because the first time I made it it was way too salty and I didn’t have some of the ingredients.
This simple recipe is just that. Simple. Tasty. And easy to prepare!
Parmesan Lemon Pepper Tilapia
Materials
- 8-10 pieces tilapia
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400
- Defrost tilapia and coat in oil
- Mix parmesan and lemon pepper
- Coat tilapia pieces in parmersan mixture and lay in flat layer on foil lined baking pan
- Cook for 10 minutes
- Broil for additional 2-3 minutes until fish develops crust (watch so it does not burn)
