Pre-Covid I used to work from home twice a week, so I already had a good set up. I didn’t really buy anything new, but really appreciate some of the things I already had that make working from home that much more enjoyable.
First up is my 50 cent notebook (1). It’s the perfect place to jot down notes and make lists. It’s nothing fancy, but so practical!
Next is my $1 phone holder (2). I wanted something to hold up my phone so I can easily see new texts that came in without having to stop and pick up my phone. The one I found at Dollar Tree has been great and it folds flat so I can store it in my desk when I don’t need it.
One treat I bought myself was a pack of my favorite pens (3). Makes jotting down notes (and filling out my kids daily health notes) way more enjoyable.
Lastly I want to mention my headset (4). It’s obviously not as fancy as AirPods, but I love that it doesn’t have to be charged. I bought an earlier model back in January 2017, but just upgraded to a newer one in February.
You don’t need expensive items to make working from home a bit more manageable. Sometimes it’s the small simple things that give you that extra lift!
