Currently all inserts are formatted to fit 8.5 by 5.5 pages. That is half of a letter size piece for paper. See below for printing instructions.
Candle Lighting and Havdalah Times
For inserts with pre-populated times:
- Candle-lighting minutes before sundown: 18 minutes
- Havdalah minutes past sundown: 50 minutes
We can create printables with candle lighting times in any zip code. We can also customize havdalah times to 72 minutes, if that is your custom. Pricing for custom orders will be sent upon request. Please contact me with custom order requests.
Ashkenaz vs Sephard
What is the difference? Since there are multiple transliterations of Hebrew, I wanted everyone to have the one they prefer. There is currently no Hebrew font on the printables and all Hebrew words are written in English letters. Ashkenaz transliteration includes an “s” sound for the letter “saf” – ex: Parshas Yisro, Sukkos, Simchas, etc… The Sephard transliteration uses a “t” sounds for the letter “taf” – ex: Parashat Yitro, Sukkot, Simchat, etc…
Printing Instructions
The best thing about these Jewish planner inserts is that you can print them on your own! You can add them to a Filofax, binder, disc-bound system or have them ring-bound. Whatever you prefer.
